It says ultimate and absolute but honestly its a waste of your time

This book is very comprehensive if you have the time to go through all of the sub chapters and answer all the questions. It says ultimate and absolute but honestly its a waste of your time. You bought this for the answers not the walk through on how to read your textbook. Honestly, don't buy this if you think your going to get much time saved from reading textbook because the review sections for each chapter are small and brief they don't cover important aspects that you would want (its in the actual textbook so go figure). If you want the answers and a walk through of them then you are in luck. They are perfect and well illustrated step by step, but be prepared because they are all the way in the back of the book. You will notice that 3/4 of the book is all little assignments like crossword puzzles and fill in the blanks (what is this the first grade?) Nowhere does it give helpful mnemonics or tips on memorizing the Glycolysis, Krebs, Pyruvate Dehydrogenase complex, or photosynthesis. So if you want to study for your metabolics class tread lightly with this book because you just might end up spending more than you bargained for because all it gives is answers and alot of work on top of your class you wish you didn't have to go through.

Not worth the addition cost, buy the old one.

When compared side by side, the sixth edition (this one) and the fifth are nearly identical, and by identical I mean word for word! I have both and the sixth addition is 3/4 of a page longer but everything about it is the same. I feel like I wasted unnecessary money.

Buy the 5th edition

This book is fine but it is far from necessary. It seems like they just threw some left over problems in a soft cover manual and charged a lot of money for it. The new version is DEFINITELY not worth the hefty price. If you have a professor that gives straight-from-the-book quizzes and exams, go ahead and pick it up. Consider the 5th edition instead of this 6th edition. They two are nearly identical in substance. However, if you have a professor like mine who rarely uses the book, this manual will be of no use.
Don't buy it unless you absolutely must.
