Inspired grandkids(teens) to set up a "spa" roomm in their house and offer us free massages, and pedicures, manicures when we stay with them. I know I was impressed with their techniques, and Grandpa didnt want the spoiling to end! Think I got my money-s worth out of this gift!

Matrix Reimprinting WORKS!

I had tried them all. Reiki, hypnosis, crystal healing, meditation, color healing, gems, stones, soul retrieval, past life work, dianetics, theta healing, various nutrition methods, access consciousness, quantum touch, I could go on and on. I had STACKS of self-help books. Then I tried EFT tapping and rather than things lasting a bit then my problems returning, healing stuck. What went away, stayed away. So I went to the best practitioners in the world and started videotaping sessions and teachings to get it out to the world. That’s when I met Karl Dawson who was developing Matrix Reimprinting. Excellent Read for Any Serious Student of Healing and Transformation

Transform Your Beliefs is brilliant in that it makes the use of Matrix Reimprinting even easier! The first book laid out a number of different separate protocols that made it a bit challenging to fully grasp. As a Matrix Reimprinting EFT trainer I really appreciate the refinements and simplicity of this new book. Matrix Reimprinting revolutionized my private practice the minute I learned to use it. There are many tapping cousins out there and for me something needs a strong track record of consistently working. It also needs to be tested thoroughly. I try many things on for myself before committing the time, energy and expense of training in it much less offering it to students and mentees but Matrix Reimprinting knocked my socks off from the get go! I had been searching for years for anything that would combine the power of Law of Attraction, morphic field theory by Rupert Sheldrake, HeartMath work, and the principles of Bruce Lipton - Matrix does this elegantly and easily. Items laid out in this book that will have me turning back to it time and again, recommending it to others, and why I'll be stocking up on it for my Matrix trainings and workshops include: the explanation of beliefs and how they are our reality, the exercises in the back of the chapters that make the material meaningful, the segments on different life themes from conscious parenting to achieving goals, and the great stories sprinkled throughout.

Exciting, Leading-Edge Healing Work

How lucky for us to be living in this marvelous age of quantum physics! I've had a lot of success with using EFT so when I heard of Matrix Reimprinting work I was very eager to experience it. (I can remember how exhilarated I was when I heard Bruce Lipton passionately share his "Biology of Belief" discoveries. He verified scientifically what I had felt intuitively for many years: that our genes and DNA are controlled by our external environment including our own thoughts and feelings.) I had my first Matrix Reimprinting session early this year and was blown away by how much better I felt about myself afterwards. I was able to quickly and completely clear all anxiety that I was carrying about a traumatic event from my past that was contributing to my feeling unsafe in the world. What is so amazing is that I didn't just release the emotional charge of that event, I actually changed the event and the memory! I created a new story that has helped me feel so much more empowered ever since. Finally, a tool that helps us to make changes at the most fundamental level so that we can more easily create what we really want in life. This book, Transform your Beliefs, Transform Your Life, EFT Tapping Using MI," is a very thorough, well-organized and practical guide that will not just inspire you to step into a better version of yourself, it will teach you how! a terrific horror-fantasy tale for grade schoolers

Thirteen years old Chance Henry says "it started out to be a normal day" in Portland, Oregon. The weeks of rain had stopped and the sun was shining as Holly "Hercules" Whipple whips his butt in basketball again. However before she can humiliate him, he hears the dreaded words "I need your help"; his dad Dr. George Henry curator of the Portland Museum of Eastern Antiquities Museum has paged him again. Like Chance thought earlier this is just a normal day.

However, normal becomes quite abnormal when a light shines from inside a recently acquires sarcophagus. A mummy steps out of a tomb and soon George is wrapped inside the bandages while the creature collapses into a pile of sand. Chance is unaware that the Time of Anubis has begun as Sehti has taken over his father's body while George's soul is drifting amidst the Egyptian Underworld. Chance knows he must somehow save his father so he risks binding some of the mummy's bandages on his arms, trusting that he can keep himself from turning and rescue his father; Chance's friends like Holly and Hayden, and a new pal Blixx help him with his quest.

Targeting elementary school children, this is a terrific horror-fantasy starring a young teen who gains confidence that he had previously lacked while on a dangerous quest to rescue his father and perhaps the world. The story line is filled with action while illustrations enhance the solid plot. Young readers will root for Chance and his trusty teammates as they battle against ancient evil that has returned.

It's a normal day for a normal boy, Chance Henry. School was over and he was playing basketball with his friend, Holly, when his dad, an archaeologist, suggested he wipe off debris from crates to prepare for a museum's new sarcophagi exhibit. Not being the athletic type, Chance was happy to oblige.

As Chance's father reads the text inscribed on the sarcophagi a magical thing happens - the mummy comes to life. This mummy, Sehti, is evil and steals Chance's father to the Underworld. Chance then meets another mummy, Osirius, who weakens Sehti temporarily, causing him to leave.

Osirius is a mummy working for good and wants to stop Sehti. Chance will do anything to get his father back, even if it means turning into a mummy himself. The tape that Osirius is wrapped in is part of a magical Anubis Tapestry, which, when wrapped around Chance's arm, gives him magical powers. Powers he will need to defeat Sehti, survive the Underworld, get his father's soul back, and master the deadly guardians of the Underworld.

I guess Chance Henry isn't as normal as he thinks, is he?

The action begins in the very first chapter. The story moves very fast, and is recommended for younger, reluctant readers.

Worst editing in history

Do not buy this edition! The editing is so bad that there are blatant typos in nearly every entry of Wittgenstein's text. There are no notes by an editor or translator, so the reader has no idea who is responsible for this ridiculous butchery of the text. I'm talking about the most basic proofreading here, not about interpretations of the text (I don't read German, so I can't comment about that). For example: " If they world had no substance, then whether a proposition had sense would depend on whether another proposition was true (2.0211)." They world? "It is obvious that an imagined world, however difference it may be from the real one . . .(2.022)" -- this kind of thing can't help but distract the reader from the meaning. These are just 2 of scores of examples. Those were on the same page, and you find them on every page. 7 Treasures Publications seems to be some kind of fly-by-night garage publisher; this is the crudest, most unprofessional publication I've ever seen.

A Masterpiece in Logic and Philosophy

This book is beautiful. Numbered by propositions, from "1. The world is all that is the case" to "7. Whereof one cannot speak, one must be silent" this book forces one to think deeply about language, logic, and their connection to reality. Wittgenstein discusses thoughts as pictures, with the truth/falsity arising in how that picture compares to reality. He also creates truth tables. What is not to love? One concern may be that in the latter half of the book, there is some logical notation that may be difficult to decipher without prior training, but even without prior training, Tractatus Logico-Philosophicus is an intellectual feast.This is one of the most important books of the 20th century, and I highly recommend it to anyone with even a passing interest in logic or philosophy.

A modern Classic

Originally published in 1921 Wittgenstein's Tractatus Logico-Philosophicus is arguably the most influential piece of twentieth century philosophical writing. This edition contains the well respected 1961 Pears and McGuinness translation as well as the introduction to the original English edition by Bertrand Russell. I offer the following comments for potential readers.

Despite its unquestioned historical significance the Tractatus is not necessarily a good entry point into Wittgenstein's thought. Arguably, if one were to read it not aware of the context within it which it was written it might seem pedantic and tedious - it is largely focused on addressing logico-linguistic questions prevalent at the outset of the twentieth century. From my perspective, an understanding of Frege and Russell is essential to appreciating the Tractatus. In particular it is important to have an appreciation for Frege's notions of concept, and his views on sense and reference; Whereas, Russell's approach to names and descriptions is also important.

Although I appreciate Wittgenstein's work in the fields of language and logic I think his influence on modern philosophy has not been entirely positive. For instance it could be argued that the Logical-Positivist movement stemming from Wittgenstein's early work steered philosophical discussion into and sterile and uninteresting period where large metaphysical questions were deemed out of bonds (undoubtedly some would consider this a good thing).

Overall, the Tractatus is a classic in modern philosophy - an important read for all serious students. For non-Wittgenstein enthusiasts, however, it can be a difficult read in early twentieth century analytic philosophy.
