At first, I bought this book thinking that more exercises in the way of examples would be shown, but when I received it,I realized that it only contained exercises without any answer.....no explanations at all, no answers either.....how could I possible test my knowledge. It was kind of disappointing. This book is useless for me. If I had known about this, I wouldn't have bought it. In my opinion, it shouldn't be named as 'Study Guide'.......it is not. Then the cover says: 'Aplication and Interpretaci�n'. Again, it is not either. I only wanted to complement the other book by the same Author to reinforce my knowledge but that won't happen through this 'Study Guide'.

Objective Write up

This is a well written objective account of Rommel's ability as a commander and his tactics. The book starts with a short overview of Rommel's actions in World War I. Then takes us to his command of 7 Panzer in France and going right through the creation and command of the Africa Korps and the desert campaign. And continuing with his command at Normandy in 1944. Lewin uses as his notes the Rommel Papers edited by Liddel Hart to help make his case.

The book shows us the sterling victories and defeats and what surrounded them. He does not seem to hide any facts from the reader. And gives us a truly balanced perspective of what really transpired. I was pleased to see that this first class analysis of Rommel's command abilities was presented with such honesty.

Truthful Guidance from a Friend

Unlike most people, I have had the pleasure of meeting Lilou in person, which is one of the reasons I bought the book. She is just as sincere in the pages of this tome as she is in real life. I live in Chicago and met her while she was hosting a show called, "Your Juicy Life". This book is perfect for any who is experiencing job loss or who maybe going through a mid-life crisis of sorts. It is so easy in this day and age to become cynical and negative about the future, but Lilou offers a refreshing enthusiastic perspective for approaching todays challenges. What appeals most to me is her ability to literally open herself up entirely. In this book, you get to live every moment of despair, hope, fear, joy, self-doubt, revelation, and triumph that she experiences on her journey. Even if you are someone who doesn't put to much stock in the Law of Attraction or the book, "The Secret", you will seriously consider changing your approach to life and its problems after reading this book. Lilou Mace is like a friend that not only empathises with your situation but who gets you all fired up and excited about your life and your dreams.

Renu Gehring is a SAS instructor and consultant. She is also an analyst at the health insurance company, CareOregon, Inc. A SAS user since 1993, she holds the following certifications for SAS 9: SAS Certified Base Programmer, SAS Certified Advanced Programmer, SAS BI Content Developer, and SAS Certified Platform Administrator.

Renu is passionate about teaching SAS technologies to transform business processes. A great resource for the SAS programmer in the healthcare industry!

New to the SAS Business Intelligence platform? This is the book for you. Renu clearly steps the reader through the many BI tools available to the SAS programmer. Best of all, she clearly uses examples from the payer-side of the healthcare industry. This approach makes the information immediately useful to the healthcare programmer/analyst. Learning a new tool in the context of familiar data is an often overlooked feature of educating the business analyst. Clear and readable graphics and screenshots allows the reader a quicker understanding of the presented material. Wish I had this book years ago!
